The Ways I Can Engage With You
Everyone has specific needs, so I am flexible to how you can get the most benefit with your budget. We can do a one-off call, we chat every week, or I can also help you with something chunky as required. Typically I charge per hour. If you need more time, we chat longer.
One Hour Call
This option is great for when you have an important specific challenge (e.g. I’m freaking out about my first investor meeting), you want to learn a topic (e.g. Teach me to raise), or you have a bunch of random questions you prepared.

Within these two hours, we can have a real conversation. You can explain your business in detail so I have context. You can say “I don’t know what to do, I have all these strategic options, what should I do” and we can get you feeling more confident by the end of it.

I have integrated booking. You pay for a block of time. You pick a time in the calendar. You get emailed with ical and get emails to remind you before we start in case you forget!
We Chat on Zoom
I do everything on Zoom calls. No, you don’t need to turn on video that’s annoying, right? We can screen share or I can draw stuff on my iPad to explain structures
I Ask What Your Goals Are for the Call
I always ask what your specific goals of this call are. That way I know the questions to ask that matter, it also means that I can manage the time so you get the most benefits
I Lead the Call or You Have a Question List
I’m gifted at figuring out what your real issues are. Normally, you just say ‘Take charge’ and I’ll focus on what your core issues are you might not even be aware of. If you have a list of questions and want to rattle through them, we can do that too. It’s your call and I’m here to help
You Can Book Again As Needed
I do not ever sell you into giving me more money. Ever. There are no sequence sales emails. If you have new challenges, you book if you believe I can add meaningful value. You just go to the booking link and book again

The things I specialise in used to freak me out. I had imposter syndrome for a long time.
The only reason I know more than you do is I blew up a lot of time learning for a number of years.
You can rock up with a broad question. You can also come up with a list of questions you want to specifically discuss. If you want to show me things such as a model, pitch deck, sales material, website etc, I’m happy to review them in a screen share. It’s your time, so you decide how prepared you want to be.
I use Zoom. You can dial in if you want, but it would be best if you can log in through the app so we can screen share (it’s very useful).
Very occasionally, clients are forced to use teams or something to call for compliance reasons. If that is the case, just book as usual and email me the link you want to use before the call. I’m flexible.
Yes. I automatically record every call on Zoom unless you specifically ask me not to. In addition, I use a service to provide you with a transcription in case you want to read the call.
I delete recordings every few weeks to clear and save space on my drive. If you want a copy of the call so you don’t have to take notes, just let me know, and I’ll send you the file via WeTransfer after the call.
No. If you pay for an hour you have one hour of my undivided attention. If you want me to prep work then book additional time and make a note that you want me to spend an hour looking at your material, website, doing research etc.
I do not work with snowflakes and people who generally take offence.
NDAs are BS as no one ever gets sued on them. Never ask an investor for one.

Trust me, nothing you have is actually confidential, let alone interesting.
The only time I signed one for a good reason was when I was advising on an acquisition for a large exit.

You can reschedule the call up to 24 hours in advance. I’m not dealing with people who cancel 10 minutes before the call.
