Summary of all the sheets
This is a one-liner explanation of what is in each sheet.
| Sheets | Comment |
|---|---|
| Formatting | Set the currency of the model. Change this with the 50Folds plugin |
| Assumptions | These are your key assumptions for the model. You effectively set a consistent formula you can use to communicate to staff |
| Assump - Financing | Input any fundraise you do so youcan see the strike rate staff get and use to calculate their diluted ownership |
| Share summary | This is a simple overview of where you granted shares per year |
| Staff Value | This is an way to show staff what their grant(s) might be worth and how much they vested |
| Pool Sizing | This is tool to figure out what ESOP you need to create before a round and help negotiate with investors |
| Staff Data | Input each staff member here first. The names feed each and every sheet. Set their starting salary and market salary as well as starting seniority (for initial grant) |
| ESOP - Y0-5 | 6 sheets. These are the actual calcs for grants. You can promote, grant performance bonuses as well as evergreen issuances. Use each sheet each year (0= starting, 5 is year 5) |
| Vesting Calcs | These are the calculations for vesting. You don't need to touch but you make like to understand! |
