Financial model sheets
If you want to quickly understand what is in the cap table model, here are all the sheets and a brief explanation so you know what is in the model.

Summary of all the sheets
This is a one-liner explanation of what is in each sheet.
Sheets | Comment |
---|---|
Formatting | Set the currency of the model. You can change the formatting with the 50Folds plugin |
Format | Set the names to be used in the model if you want to change them. Otherwise explains the terms |
Shareholders | Central ledger to input the names of shareholders once and track any other details you would like to add. |
Calculations | Data dashboard and undertakes complex calculations (No assumptions on this page) |
Cap table | Core cap table sheet. Track your common to series I cap tables for each round. Add shareholders, note pro-rata rights. |
Assumptions | Set terms for your funding rounds, ESOP sizes, prop rata and Liquidation preferences. |
ESOP | Set and manage all staff that recieve options under the ESOP. |
Common | Set and manage assumptions for common shareholders (founders or as options convert to shares) |
Notes | Input convertible notes and terms (e.g. cap, discount, interest rates) |
Warrants | Track any warrants that may convert in future |
Series-(A to ) | 9 sheets (A to I rounds). Track each fund raise specifically per shareholder |
Return to Individuals | Drop down to see the return profile to individual shareholders |
Return waterfall | Calculations to map returns round by round. Set whether options accelerate at exit and pick an exit date |
