Cipher Skin captures vital data within and around any object and translates it into actionable insights users can trust — building the largest and most accurate data DNA platform of the physical world.

The firm, which is based in Denver, Colorado, has created a sensor-covered mesh, which can be wrapped around things of all shapes as sizes, from human limbs to bridges and pipes, collecting data on everything from temperature through to density and internal pressure.

“If you think of data as the DNA of the physical world, we are mapping it at scale” said Cipher Skin COO Dr Shaka Bahadu adding that this could potentially transform how industries can tackle major problems.

Alongside Draper Associates, which has also previously invested in Skype and Tesla, the company’s Series A was backed by the Boyett Group, Tribe Capital and TKC Capital

There are too many pointless slides.

Write what the point is. They write one word most of the time and frequently I think it’s the wrong word.

Appearance

I don’t like black backgrounds. They look pretty but I think they more issues than they are worth.

I think they think design gets you funded. It doesn’t.

There doesn’t seem to be one.

They obviously used a designer so things look nice.

Failure of what?

I never have vision or mission slides as they are always lame.

No one has unlimited access to data. Makes my eyes roll.

I don’t know what they do yet, but the claim sounds dumb and unfocused. It’s like they got drunk and egged each other on till someone said the most impossible thing they could think of and all shouted, “Yes!”.

Then Brian says “Um, how do we do that?” and the rest say “Shut the flark up Brian, stop killing the buzz”.

Are we still on Vision, or what do they do?

The graphics are pretty.

Trillions sounds ambitious…

I’m starting to take the piss as I don’t know what they even do yet or why I care about it.

Don’t write shite like “a book with missing pages”. You’re not starting a Haiku.

What’s the point of the continued images now? You look at this without the dude and it’s just a wall of flarking text.

I feel they hired some PR wanker to help them make their deck.

Explain what the actual flarking problem is!!! If Brian was writing this with me, he would agree.

Well thanks for the flarking end of your story, but I don’t know what the problem is AND how you solve it. But I know about your poetry hobby and what’s missing from it getting published.

WTF does anything on this slide mean? This is a groupthink issue and they didn’t have someone like me to call BS.

This is a product slide? Could they not just explain how it works in 4 steps?

Why are there massive black boxes to say there are links?

The slide has multiple applications- how about they focus on just one first!!! But then they can’t make up a $700b number.

FFS, they’re starting with some gym mirrors but we’re chatting oil and gas now which I’m sure they know everything about too? Come on. This is super irritating to read.
