This Color.xxx pitch deck was written in 2011 to parody the lunacy of some startups that were being funded around 2010.
People were aghast when in 2011 Color raised $41 million.
From Sequoia Capital, Bain Capital, and Silicon Valley Bank.
Pre-launch.
At the time that was the most money that Sequoia had ever invested in a pre-launch startup. Or, as the Color team put it, “That’s more than they gave Google.”
