Hello Alex,
I am struggling with our deck because the every consultant says it should only be 10-12 pages so I took our transition descriptions out. I see you have them in with a 16page deck. Do you use the full executive summary (10-13 pages) or a short 2 pager to build the decks? We are a mHealth start-up seeking early stage investment. Is it worth even sending out a deck for early stage investment because we only need (100K) to complete engineering on a software suite & mobile app in order to get to launch? We just can’t get past this hurdle. Our target is angle or early stage (.8M) funding to get us through our first year, then 2M to accommodate IT ramp up to scale as projected. I am a designer so I see the value in a well constructed deck, but when I go to pitch they say almost no investor watches the deck just listens to the story. Judges go both ways, which do you put the most value in? Please advise.
