Hubbub GmbH develops innovative voice-based solutions for online social communication.
The company is based in Vienna, with back-office in Lviv, Ukraine. It has been founded on 2011 by Hares Youssef and Yurij Riphyak with Yuriy Marchuk joining later as CTO. Hubbub GmbH operates a voice social network of the same name, available as an iPhone app and on web – at www.hubbub.fm.
Hubbub is a voice-based online platform that provides social networking opportunities when typing and reading are impossible or inconvenient: like driving, jogging or washing dishes. “A Twitter for voice”, it allows users to share 30-second voice messages, called “bubs”, which are then combined into a smooth uninterrupted stream.
The followers can then listen to the stream mixed with their favourite music from iTunes, Spotify or Last.fm.
