iPlaySafe Pitch Deck to Raise $1m Seed Round

iPlaySafe is a medical app that allows members to track and share sexual health status in a secure way.

iPlaySafe, the sexual health startup based in London, recently announced it had raised $1 million in a private fundraising round.

Founded in 2019 by architect Georgia Di Mattos and ex-sonographer Bianca Dunne, iPlaySafe allows users to order STD tests to their homes and logs their results, which can then be shared with prospective sexual partners.

Both founders say they’re passionate about breaking taboos around sexual health and encouraging more open dialogue around STDs. “We should be celebrating sexual health as a vital part of our general health,” said Di Mattos.

Cofounder Dunne added that she hoped the platform would “create a seamless and fuss-free solution that facilitates a new way to interact as empowered sexual beings”.

The firm said it had been backed by a number of unnamed “family and friend” private investors in a £1 million (or $1.3 million) funding round, which it would invest in its product use to scale up the platform.
