Dumb ways to die as a startup
Startups are more likely to die than to succeed. One can learn more about what not to do than what successfully worked for others.
I did a talk at Oxford University about Dumb Ways to Die. I break out some of the key reasons that startups fail.
The five things to watch out for are:
- Team – founder blow ups
- Burn – premature scaling
- Market – size matters
- Execution – don’t do dumb shit
- 5 – don’t read TechCrunch
I’ll try bosh out a video on this. Sure I can make up what I talked about before.
Every time I do a talk there is always some technical error that means I wan’t recorded. Go figure.
